Headcorn will not be subject to Olympic Airspace Restrictions from 14 July 2012 to 15 August 2012. We are within three nautical miles of the outer edge of the Restricted Zone and will have an exemption which means that we will be fully operational during the restricted period.

We will be offering a flight planning service for both home and visiting pilots wishing to transit the restricted zone, a serice for pilots visiting from abroad who may wish to continue their journey through the zone. Also, we have extra hangar space available for pilots who would like to take advantage of our exemption and continue to fly without restrictions during the busy summer period.
