163 Robin Fly InSaturday 26th JulyDue to a hugely successful first Robin fly-in last year we have decided to make this fly-in an annual event. Last year with the help of the fine weather we managed to attract no less than 29 Robin aircraft including 3 brand new deisil varients, a very impressive lineup of the type with arrivals from France and Belgium as well as all around the UK. With all these aircraft and many other types present along with a fantastic BBQ, it made for a brilliant day out. As with last year, this years Robin fly-in will welcome owners and their aircraft from all over the UK and Europe and landings will be FREE. The new deisil Robin will again be available for trial flights. Owners can also informally chat to our team about engineering matters, Shenley Farms Engineering here at Headcorn are Robin specialists and will be available to show owners around the facilaties and advise on any technical details. Also this year we are holding a Spot Landing competition in conjunction with Weald Aviators Club. More details available later. Along with all this, our usual big BBQ and all the excitement of a normal day at Headcorn with parachuting, aerobatics, vintage aircraft etc, you dont want to miss it!
