IMPS MILITARY SHOW (Combined Ops) & VINTAGE AIRCRAFT FLY-IN Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th August 2010
After a hugely successful event in 2009 the Invicta Military Preservation Society bring their Combined Ops Military Show back to Headcorn and as part of this fantastic show we will again be inviting owners of Vintage, Classic & Ex Military aircraft to come along and join in totally FREE of charge.
This years event plans to be bigger and better with more of last years Vintage Aircraft, Warbirds, Military Vehicles, Tanks, Re-enactments, Model Aircraft, Displays, Military Memorobilia, Costumes and Clothing and lots lots more.
In exchange for bringing your Vintage aircraft to Headcorn to be part of the show we will offer owners and their passengers FREE landing and show entry for either or both days.

ROBIN FLY-IN Review Saturday 5th June 2010

This years Robin Fly-in was blessed with good weather and another good turn out of Robin aircraft. No less than 39 Robins of 6 different types attended with foreign visitors arriving from France, Belgium and Germany.
British contingent flew in from as far as Sherbern, Barton, Newquay, Leicester with the closest popping in from just down the road in Pluckley.
With lots of prizes on offer this year, the Spot the Defect Competition on a DR400 proved very popular. The winner was Carl Sargeant who flew his DR400 in from Goudhurst here in Kent. Carl got all 10 defects correct and won the hamper full of goodies courtesy of LAS Aerospace. Happy polishing Carl.

Winner of the Concourse Competition was David Chalmers from Upper Harford with his immaculate DR400 G-BSVS which he has proudly owned for the last 17 years. David won a an Airbox Aware System courtesy of Airbox to put in his aircraft to keep him out of trouble.

Furthest travelled to the event was close but the winner who flew his DR400 G-BAGR in from Caernarfon in North West Wales was David Last who wins a 2010 Pooleys Flight Guide courtesy of Pooleys.
More prizes were won on the raffle which raised money for the Kent Air Ambulance. Thanks to all who purchased tickets for this fantastic cause.
